About the courses

Levels and workload

For all languages and for all levels (A1-C2), the business courses also follow the logic of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Typically 90 hours of training are required to complete a group level or 60 hours in the case of individual lessons.

Intensive Courses and Special Topics

There are also intensive courses (2 or 3 days) at the business level that allow you to address specific topics such as Participating in Meetings, Making Presentations, Writing Formal Emails and Letters, Talking on the Phone, Negotiating, among others.

Blended Training

For students with little availability, we suggest blended courses, or fully online courses. In the case of blended courses, the workload is divided according to the client’s needs, although we recommend the following distribution: 60 hours in person + 30 hours on the online platform. The online courses take place on the Voxy platform, and, in this modality, the program is also custom-built.

Methodology and Teachers

Together with the HRD, we have agreed on concrete and realistic objectives to assess the progress of the trainees, after a level assessment test and a needs diagnostic test have been implemented.
From there, we select the teachers to be allocated.
The Teachers are of nationality or bilingual and have extensive experience in teaching languages in a business environment.

Approach, Programs and Materials

Participatory and practical approach, focusing on practical cases, role-plays, exercises, games, use of audio and video, etc.
The Speakwell Programme and material are created from scratch, according to the indications of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Speakwell is certified by DGERT and meets all the administrative requirements for projects co-financed by the Portuguese State.
